Vietnamese literature in the post-war period gradually prospered. By the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st, writers of the young generation were freed from the shackles of a heavy ideology that their predecessors had suffered. Kho ». Lão Kho (littéralement, Le vieux Kho), de son vrai nom Ta Kho est un paysan pauvre, comme tant d'autres au Viêt-Nam, né dans le village de Dong. C'est quelqu'un qui va construire son propre malheur. Cet homme est le produit de la machine qu'il a contribué à créer et qui va l'anéantir.
